Sir Colin Young: Perhaps the most distinguished cinema scholar, professor, program director and film producer in the world today. Colin founded and directed the UCLA Cinema Studies Program from 1960-1970 and followed that by founding and directing the National Film and Television School NFTS in Britain from 1970 to 1990 and the School of European Cinema in France 1990-2000. He holds an Order of the British Empire OBE, BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award, and the French Chevalier des Arts et Des Lettres.
